POSITION SUMMARY:

Compiles information for various Security-related functions. Provides related property loss prevention training for security people. Supervises security people and maintains security systems. Provides administrative support for the Security Department and works under minimal supervision.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  1. Promote security awareness programs to instill a security culture and ensure a secure work environment.

  2. Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities in the Security team and company.

  3. Provide briefing and guidance to ensure the outsourced security team always performs their duties effectively according to the company security policy to meet the service agreement KPI.

  4. Provide a monthly comprehensive report/update for management-related review.

  5. Assist the Security manager in achieving security-related objectives.

  6. Ensure compliance with schedules and work standards.

  7. Provide direct support to all security guards and reactively deploy them to the scene when appropriate.

  8. Fully support internal investigation for any security-related noncompliance incidents. Prepare investigation reports to update the Security manager and management.

  9. Preparation of investigations Report as well as evidence for Domestic Inquiry (DI) related cases.

  10. Address stakeholders’ concerns and complaints promptly and professionally.

  11. Support facilities and Operations team on contractor management to ensure all contractors comply with AE EHS/Security protocol and requirements.

  12. Continues improving security processes and systems to ensure AE keeps abreast with industry best practices and supports internal stakeholders’ needs.

  13. Implement and monitor the administration of effective key control if required.

  14. Implement and monitor the administration of effective lost & found procedures if required.

  15. Coordinate security coverage for functions.

  16. Conduct training sessions for Security Assistance/Guards and general security.

  17. Training for all employees – Employee Orientation.

  18. Develop and implement ongoing training for security staff and SOPs.

  19. Coordinate on-the-job training.

  20. Assess the performance of the Security Employees.

  21. Direct and supervise security procedures.

  22. Accept responsibility for the care and serviceability of security equipment & staff.

  23. Assess the performance of the Security Employees and identify areas of weakness.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Hands-on experience with PCs and related programs such as Word and Excel.

  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Demonstrate initiative, innovation, and willingness to learn and make important decisions.

  • Able to develop, implement, and follow through in planning operations/training.

  • Experience with engaging government-related agencies.

  • Availability to respond to escalation including security alerts outside of business hours.

  • Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism Certificate (CTPAT) is good to have.

  • Internal Auditor Certified Auditor ISO 900:2015 good to have.

  • Has a proper appearance and demonstrates excellent conduct.

  • Ability to train and manage security assistance/guards.

  • Aware of security inspection techniques.

  • Ability to write Security Incident Reports.

  • Ability to act quickly and appropriately in an emergency.

  • Familiarity in handling safety, bomb threats, and other emergencies.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years’ experience in related fields.

  • Experience in facilities administrative and security supervise is priority.

  • Experience with RBA & C-TPAT requirements and managing the External & Internal audits.
